The 90's -

Hong Kong Centre was renamed Catherine Lo Centre in 1994 in recognition of her contribution to the Society

In 1997, the Society published the first Training Package for Autistic Children which was based on the acclaimed TEACCH model

Then Chief Executive Mr Tung Chee-hwa visits the Jessie and Thomas Tam Early Education and Training Centre in 1998

The Society established the SMART Fathers’ Club in 1999

The Society’s first nursery school, the Healthy Kids Nursery School with an integrated programme was opened in 1999

Then Governor of Hong Kong, Mr Chris Patten and his wife Lady Lavender invite our children to have fun at the Government House

The Society organises a charity fashion show to celebrate its 35th anniversary in 1998

The Society established the first Parent-Child Library in Tai Hang Tung Parents Resource Centre in 1994

Mr Donald Tsang, then Financial Secretary, visits Tai Hang Tung Parents Resource Centre in 1996

In 1990, the Society organises the First Great Chefs of Hong Kong to raise funds for the Parents Resource Centres
